The aim of #ItsWorthTalkingAbout is to provide safe, confidential spaces for men & women to come & talk about anything that is affecting their wellbeing, mental health or quality of life.

Amparo

Support can be provided one-to-one, to family groups, groups of colleagues or peers whatever is preferred by you and is most appropriate to your situation. The service can be delivered in your home or wherever you are most comfortable. Our service is completely confidential and can provide short-term or longer-term support, depending on what you feel it is you need.

Andy’s Man Club

We are talking groups for men who have either been through a storm, are currently going through a storm or have a storm brewing in life.

Battle Scars

We provide easy-to-access services both for those who struggle with self-harm and for those who support them — including families, carers, friends, and professionals.

A podcast not just designed to focus on men’s mental health and well-being. It also allows mothers, sisters, daughters and female peers to gain insight that will lead to a better understanding of the troubles men often suffer in silence with.

Bearded Fishermen

We were founded in October 2019 by the side of a fishing lake in Ashby, by Rick Roberts & Mick Leyland, the reason being the loss of a fellow fishermen to suicide. This prompted us to start a support group as both Rick and Mick have been through similar experiences in life. what started out as just a simple support group has now grown into a great support network supporting mental health and suicide prevention. Since then, our activities have grown, prospered and expanded.
