For many school leaders, the summer holidays will be the only real window to prepare for major changes to safeguarding and cyber security before September.

The new Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance places greater responsibility on schools to think beyond traditional filtering and treat online safety as part of their wider safeguarding approach.
