Their expertise and lived experience have been instrumental in guiding the development of Ripple's technology, ensuring it aligns with industry standards, regulations, and requirements. <\/p><p id=\"\">The new development is grounded in data highlighting the strong correlations between these mental health conditions and life struggles and suicidal ideation, for example: &nbsp;<\/p><ul id=\"\"><li id=\"\">People with substance abuse are up to <strong id=\"\">14 times <\/strong>more likely to die by suicide. (Wilcox HC, Conner KR, Caine ED, et al) <\/li><li id=\"\">People with problem debt are <strong id=\"\">3 times <\/strong>more likely to have had recent suicidal thoughts (Money &amp; Mental Health); problem gamblers at <strong id=\"\">15 times<\/strong> higher risk of suicide (Lund University). &nbsp; <strong id=\"\">\u200d<\/strong><\/li><li id=\"\"><strong id=\"\">One in eight<\/strong> (13%) adults experienced suicidal thoughts or feelings because of concerns about their body image. (Mental Health Foundation, 2019) <\/li><li id=\"\">Approximately <strong id=\"\">9%<\/strong> of all people with eating disorders report having serious thoughts of attempting suicide (Borges G, et al., 2010) &nbsp;<\/li><li id=\"\">People who were sexually abused as a child were <strong id=\"\">3 times<\/strong> more likely to try to take their own lives.
